About the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Virus (1)


- The name “corona” virus is a characteristic name for a disease given by the spikes on the outer edges of the virus particles
    (spike glycoproteins) that look like crowns.

- The new coronavirus infection that occurred in China from January 7 to February 11, 2020, was announced by the WHO
    as 2019-new coronavirus disease (2019-nCoV), and 2019-nCoV was subsequently changed as COVID-19.

- The International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses given name the 2019-nCoV to "Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2
    (SARS-CoV-2)", and it also called "COVID-19 (Coronavirus disease-19)".
